Barahavan means twelth day is last day of ceremony & after worship this day it's supposed by Hindu religious persons that soul of dead is finally settled in heaven or a super god's home called Vishnu lok or might be in hell if dead was a devil person not a good person.

My mom was a good person she struggled in her poverty & did every thing to educate her kids specially girls.

So it's true nowshe is in god's home.

You can see here pic. taken on pagadi ceremony on third day of Smt. Sushila Devi Kakwani paased away. In this ceremony pagadies (turban) are put on heads of sons of deceased.
